If this is a bijar, it should take considerably more effort to move this rug than the other. it would be heavier, harder to fold (especially length-wise) and would clearly have a much more dense construction. The reason for this is newer bijar rugs from persia, as this appears to be, are packed extremely hard on the loom, pushing each row much closer to the rows below with great force. Bijar rugs typically do not come at a low price, but they do vary a lot in price based on how they were bought by the dealer. For this size, 3500 would be fair price for a very finely made, tightly woven, unused true persian bijar. We cannot see the knot density from your pictures, please do post with a quarter on the reverse side.
