Anybody know anything about Islamabad rugs?
Recently saw an ad for one at a price that you'd expect to pay for a Qum or Tabriz!

how is the rug advertised - country of origin etc, and where is the rug in respect to your location. Did you find it online, etc. Please post in relevant topics, (originally posted in buyer beware)

It is a so called Pak Persian rug. Design comes from Iran (Gonbad Tabriz), wool usually new zealand imported. These rugs are not cheap, but there should be a difference to a Qum or a fine Tabriz. Also would be interesting if offered by a store or private party. Like I mentioned - if it is from a store and it is new, it is not cheap. Size would be heplful, and a checked number of knots also.
