Tufted means the carpet is created with a tufting gun, which they poke the strands of yarn through a color coded canvas, and then glue the back. This is the most common type of tufting. Whether or not the rug is worth the money is tough to say. It seems fairly inexpensive at that price, and with rugs, you pretty much get what you pay for. $150 for a new hand tufted rug is pretty inexpensive. These rugs are notorious for their short lifespan and often obnoxious rubber odor.
