When I look at the top of this 10X12 rug, due to top and bottom end design, I think of a Turkmenistan rug, but whenever I see big fringe knots and kilim I think of Afghan. although they might seem bigger due to the close up
Which one is correct, and age about 1980s?

Thanks

The design is a pretty faithful reproduction of the Tekke Turkoman main carpet design, as used roughly 1900 onwards I believe.
