Hello,

I'm looking to buy a carpet and found this one.
It's an online auction with a local showroom where I have seen the carpet.
I'm thinking of biding, including 20% auction house fee, 2000USD. Is this to much or is it a fair price?
I like the carpet but I'm not thrilled by it, so if I decide to get rid of it later do you think I would get the money back?
Do you think they are lying with the silk description?

Many thanks from Sweden

From description:
Isfahan, silk carpet, 297 x 200 cm. Silk pile and silk warp. Approx. 700,000-750,000 knots per m2. Approx. 30 years old. Minor wear.

Link to auction with pictures.

Hello.

To me it looks like a Qum from Marageh. Its more than 700.000 kn.p.sqm.
Minor wear. What kind?

3.000,-€ would be a good price for a good conditioned silk rug with this dimension.
