Hi there, thanks for a great site & forum.

I bought this rug from a friend a few years back as he was leaving the country. Apparently it derives from Kashmir. I would like to get an opinion on whether you think this rug matches up to the specifications I was told. These are the details I believe to be true..

MEASUREMENTS: 4' x 2.5' / 126cm x 77cm
ORIGIN: Kashmir
DESIGN: Qum
MANUFACTURE: Hand knotted natural silk, natural colouring, 675 Knots/SqrInch
AGE: 2005

It has a certificate stating to be from the Indian Silk Board. The carpet looks and feels amazing and reflects light differently from different angles. Haven't attempted a burn test yet....

Appreciate any feedback!

Regards,
Kendo
