ok,proud to be the first one to write about kilims and co. :)))))

here's a maliki kilim of herat.
If i learnt something on the web this is a kilim with some details with weft substitution technique. am i correct?

Glad someone posted here, I know there are also a couple other boards that need some first postings too. It's like unclaimed land! Really nice looking rug, although to be honest, I'm not entirely familiar with kilim's and the techniques of weaving such. Nice looking piece tho!
