The rug is described as "Antique Arab Baluchi Camel Hair Pile Heavy Rug".

I don't see why a rug couldn't be all of these: a certain percentage of the Iranian population is Arab (their Arab minority), and "Arab Beluchi" is a term generally used to describe a certain kind of Beluch rug, see e.g.

These rugs can have camel hair fields and their piles can be heavy, and many of them are Pre-1900.

The advertised rug seems to definitely be antique (pre-1910), Beluchi, Camel hair and heavy pile. Whether it is Arab Beluchi, I couldn't say without seeing it in the flesh (in the wool, rather). But it seems not impossible.

The price is a different matter, I agree.

Perhaps I am quick on the trigger. The person said thjis rug what "What I believe to be ....." which implies uncertainty. Also, if you look at rugs a lot on eBay, from private sellers you will often see them throw in every possible tag word to get the browser to look. I have seen "Afghan Moroccan" rugs, "Persian Tibetan Chinese rugs" "Hippie Persian Boho Goth" rugs ...... you name it. It's usually a red flag.

I think $1500 for that rug is a fair value. I am an antique rug restorer. You have to repair that rug. So when you calculate restoration and current price you will reach around $2500 . That rug is missing ending part. Collectors want to see whole piece. They already did some restoration on that rug. Good luck.
