rug identification + fair price

I would like to know a fair price for this Craigslist rug, also any identification information. It's stated to be in very good condition.
Actually it's small (7'4" X 10'2") for my space but I think it is a pretty good quality library rug.
I am also pursuing an eBay rug which KAD assessed favorably and which exactly fits my space, but I don't think I'll get it.
So, I have been talking about compromise. The colors and quality of this Craigslist rug seem suitable. The asking price is $600. What do you think?

Hard to tell from the picture. Design is Kerman, might be persian, but this type of rug was also made in China and in India for the US market. The knots look persian. This type of Kerman wears rather fast, you had posted another Kerman together with a Meshed, I mentioned this problem there also. Before you buy, check the rug. If the rug is ok, the price is ok also. Look for low pile areas, this is a typical problem Kermans in this quality have a lot.

Thanks KAD, I'll be trying for the eBay "Kashan" first; you assessed it at $1500 but I won't be going that far.
If I don't get it, I will go and see this one tomorrow. FYI it was bought in Sweden.

If you contact the seller of the Kashan, try to get a better price, maybe he will go down a bit, the rug seems to be ok.

Yes KAD, see my last post on the "resolved" thread; I won the auction last night, and got the "Kashan" for $800 including shipping. You said it was not Ardakan, not 1970s, not kork, but still a good rug, good colors, seemingly in good condition, and a price up to $1500 would be okay. So my rug needs are met for this room, I hope, and thank you very much.
