KAD mentioned this is a village rug. Now that I have it I love the colors and character. I would also love to find out more about it since it is going to be in a more prominent part of my house.
Is the rug a 1930's? The label, not shown in picture certainly looks of that era. Also want area of Iran would this village be located. Would appreciate any help.

I'm not sure if the pictures are complete enough for identificcation, but it won't get me for a week or so. My curiousty is killing me. I'm hoping the colors and borders will help the ID. Also hopefully, the finger in the picture gives a perspective on knot size. I know it's a streach but the average finger is 1/2 to 5/8". I will send complete pictures if needed when the rug arrives.
