This is in no way a "Persian Kerman from Iran" as the seller states. This is not a Ravar Kerman, or Lavar Kerman, either. The fringe and edging are typical of Turkish rugs being imported from Turkey between the 1950's and recently. The asking price is what you would expect to pay in a retail setting for a carpet in perfect condition. Perfect condition means the rug has never been used.

Whether intentional or not, the advertised styles this seller says the rug is would normally fetch a significantly higher market price than what the rug really is.
