So the rug came Friday and it looks good but the selvages are loose in a few areas and there's actually places where the selvage threads come out like they've been cut or pulled out.
Any advice on how to handle it with the ebay seller? It came from
www.manhattanorientalrugs.com .
The packaging looked OK so I don't think it was damaged while being shipped but I can't say for sure, because it was an older looking sack it was shipped in.
For some of you dealers, what do you think a fair resolution would be? Some money back off the price, a replacement rug, or a refund? Should I be responsible for return shipping?
The store's closed for the weekend but I plan on calling first thing Monday morning.
