Hi, I saw this on EBAY, not sure what it is? Maybe a Malayer or Hamadan? http://rover.ebay.com/ro...&mtid=824&kw=lg. This seller says that the KPSI on this rug 180, but I count only 63 (9 X 7), as this is a single wefted rug. I also note that he lists the rug in the Pre-1900 age, puts cr 1900 on the picture caption, and in the verbal description says it is 90 to 100 years old. So I guess you have your choice of an age from Pre-1900 to 1920s. Each seller has his own quirks.

You are right, kpsi is not correct listed. I would also say age is ca. 1930 - 40. Also the pile is not full, it has lower areas, but no foundation showing. But due to it`s overall good condition, beautiful colors and the restaurations made I would say it is only a bit above retail value. Asking 2500 - 3000 $ for a rug in this condition is not unfair. The seller has many nice rugs, I check his site once in a while. He is only a bit otimistic about the age of the rugs, but this is a must on ebay - most customers expect this :-).
