Folksy description is amusing and the pictures do not seem to be from someone who knows how a rug should be best presented.

Machine made? Poor pictures but they at least seem to show hand knotted. What am I missing oh great guru? Anxious

Liar Netjim is on his feet! It does show signs of being hand knotted, but you have to admit, something is amiss with this rug. Like maybe it's a pakistani piece or something. It's a Kerman Design, but it just doesn't look like a Persian weaving

It does look weird, probably part of why it didn't sell. A real Persian rug probably would have ended with one bid at 100 bucks, even in that tattered condition.

Interestingly enough, I was given the Big Lebowski movie as a gift 3 or 4 weeks ago. Just a couple days ago I got around to actually viewing it and posting on it. The entry is right here. I was surprised at how difficult it was to photograph the television, I thought there would be some difference between CRT's and LCDs.
