This rug was given to me about 17 years ago as a gift from my parents. They never purchased anything cheap in regards to furniture and always from galleries typically in High Point NC (furniture market) thus I know it’s not a knock off. I’m currently changing my style to more modern and this rug certainly doesn’t work for me anymore and wanted to do some research before selling.

Length: 10x8, 10 (a little over) x 8 (a little under)

Thank you

Handmade Chinese rug with a cotton foundation and a wool pile. This type of Chinese rugs used to be very popular in the U.S. during the 80's, but they no longer are. I am not sure what you will be able to get out of it as it is now a used rug. However, if you were to buy it from a retail store today, you would pay a bit over $2K for it.

Thanks for the reply. I really thought I could get a min of 2k used... I know they paid a lot for it in 93. I may put it up on ebay and see how it goes.
