From my research avegare appear to be around $2000/sqm.. really special ones around $3000/sqm...

You are right about the average price for silk Quom, but please pay attention to the fact that this piece has a signature of "Rajabian", perhaps the best producer of silk rugs in Quom. I am not suggesting that the price is right, but I just want you to know you are not looking at an ordinary silk rug here.
