agree with fredgrower. Wow, nice price. Looks like a 1960's or 70s perhaps tabriz although field motif is based of older antique kashan rugs

This is a Persian Qum with "Kurk" wool, perhaps around 40-50 years old. You have bought it at a bargain price, and I think you should be able to get 400-450 for it if you find a private buyer. If I were you, I would not sell it. I recommend you have it cleaned, find a good spot, and use it as a hanging on the wall. Rugs with a "One-way" pattern make beautiful wall hangings. Good luck.
