Origin, Age, Value of Inherited Rug?

I recently inherited a few oriental rugs, most of which are Persian, but I'm unsure about this one. I know very little about it, but here's what I do know so far:

Measures 47.5" by 64.5"
120 KPSI (I think, but am not sure I counted correctly)
I believe it was purchased in the mid-1980s

If you know anything about the origin, age, or value of this rug, I'd really appreciate any help I can get. Rug detective work is harder than I initially thought it would be. Thanks so much!

Your rug is from western Iran, Kurdish area. It was made in our close to the city of Sanandaj. These rugs are also sold under the name of Senneh, Sanna, Sanhe. It is probably older than mid 1980`s I would say made in the early 1970`s. Size is typical for the rug, also the design except for the medaillon which is very nice. All together a great rug. It would profit from a wash, it is very dusty and the fringes are dark. Price in a retail store somewhere from 500 - 800 USD.

Price range might be a bit above (in my opinion), size is pretty small and and there are better Senne qualties for that price.
