I have absolutely no experience in assessing and identifying rugs. I would like to learn. So I am starting with this forum. I recently bought this rug. It measures about 32X60 inches.
Where was it made? How old is it?

Your rug was made in Afghanistan, it is around 10 - 20 years old. Nice design and color. It is wool pile on wool foundation, handknotted and a combination of handwoven kelim and knotted rug.
