I was wondering if anyone could shed some light n this rug. It is at least 160 yrs old, when it came into a family, it is 10x14, the yarn appears to be 2 ply, the foundation is fine wool as is the weft. It is approx 100 kpsi. I have been told it might be a Sivas (Turkey) but I have been told it is Persian also. I would be interested in anyone's opinion.
Thanks
Rugnut
