Hi everyone,
here's a large 13 x 15 ft carpet that I have inherited lately from my father. Ideas anyone?
Sorry i don't have any pictures of the back.

I'm getting around to that and learning as I learn a little more about rugs and carpets (if you see what I mean...).
I'll get round to the 4 types of shots needed to get a better sense of their value. It's such a big carpet and so heavy that I should have done that the first time around.
I'll get to it as soon as I can and thank you for your interest.
I'll be back soon with the kind of pictures you (and other forum members) need.
In the interim any info is good info :-)

In Sotheby's opinion this one would be a Mir Serraband.
From the majority of pictures I see on the net, Mir Serraband look not much like this..???
