I posted the following in the “Appraisal Help “ forum yesterday, but it seems like this is the right place to post it.

I hereby copy my question.

I just came back from another vacation in the UAE where I went to the same Souq in Sharjah in search for another rug, this time I wanted a Kelim and bought this one.

All I know is that it’s a Kelim from Sirjan (according to seller), and that it is very high quality, the design is unique and it was the only one I saw like this one in more then 30 shops.

What is it, is the design something special that relates to anything special, and has anybody got an idea about the retail value ?

It is new.

According to my certificate it is wool and the colours are dyes.

I’ll be happy to know as much as possible about it.

I will be happy to post additional pictures on request.
