Recently purchased from estate sale . both rugs have been hanging on walls for many, many years.

41”x65” excluding tassels, tan, red, blue rug, looks in excellent condition except for what appears missing tassel on bottom corner. Has been hanging on wall for many years.
My guestimate measurements indicate approx 26 hor x 23 vert knots = 598 KPSI?
Unsure of region and composition of rug

49”x 76” excluding tassels, red, blue, tan rug also looks in excellent condition. Has been hanging on wall for many years.
My guestimate measurements indicate approx 21 hor x 19 vert knots = 399 KPSI?
Unsure of region and composition of rug

The light coloured rug looks more 20/22 and the red rug 18/20.

Thanks for the quick response. I have been led to believe that the tan 41"x65" is of Isfahn origins, and the red rug of Qazvin or Kerman.? can you say whether or not they are hand made or machine made. thanks again

The rust colored rug seems to be from India. Wool and knots look like Kashmir region, designis a mix between Kirman and Kashan. The creme colored rug is from Iran, it was made in the city of Isfahan. Seems to be kurkwool on silk warp. Very nice rug. Both are handknotted.
