These are the images we need to see - selvage, fringe and back of the rug with a quarter. Seeing the wefting may help identify area. If you want a value for aesthetic value, we can provide that too, but looking at the structure is key.
As of right now, the rug is turkish, it appears to be older than 60 years, younger than 100. The dyes seem like they could be synthetic - your rug is missing the outer minor border on both ends. Not good for value. You can also see that the knots, which once were, may have left their color behind when reduced in length.
