I have received some pictures of a rug that looks interesting, but can anyone tell anything about this rug from looking at the pictures? Thank you in advance for any input!
Oh, and by the way, I am new here, so please excuse me jumping into the forum with both feet first asking for advice.

Welcome to the forum.
Looks like from India, made of wool. Size about 6 x 4? Would need a detailed picture of the back of the rug showing fringes, knots, selvedge, maybe with a quater dollar on it to see the size of the knots.

KAD, are you sure that's not silk or art-silk? (3rd picture look at the way the pile is splayed like it's opened up a bit which is common for silk/viscose if they've been wet-washed).

Little-Persia, i am not sure, but on my browser it looks like shine washed wool, Jaipur quality. A better close up foto would help a lot.
