that has three compressed guls. Is this simply a poorly drawn rug or is there a reason for the change. Also does the many colors denote a newer rug? Full back cover is shown
I'd look at the second picture first since the whole rug picture is lacking.

It is relatively new, maybe 10 - 20 years, hardly much older. It comes from Afghanistan and is just not made very professional. A typical village rug. But I like its original look and the strong colors. Collectors see this different most of the time.
