Hi everyone,
I recently sent a complaint about excessive shipping charges to EBAY and they actually did something! This rug, http://shop.ebay.com/?_f...acat=See-All-Categories was revised down to $40 two days after I complained. If enough people complain maybe EBAY will clean up all of these excessive charges. Go to EBAY, use Contact US, Report ITEM or Member, excessive shipping.

However, they did not act on my complaint about the age claim on this rug to make the seller revise the CR1800 in the title, Antique Turkoman Pray Rug CR1800 On Sale Now. So this is your opportunity to purchase a 210 year old rug for $99!

few things are more annoying than getting a good deal on an item only to have that feeling of success tarnished by excessive shipping charges.

i sell my rugs on e-bay and always offer free shipping.

the excessive shipping charges are bad. do kep in mind for some sellers this keeps the final value fees lower. hopefully this turns to a profit push to the consumer - it used to be a rug which sells for $100 free shipping will be subject to $100 final value fee by ebay. so maybe $3 or $4. a $1 rug with $99 shipping would only be subject to the final value fee on $1
