Can anyone tell me about this rug ... I was told it was made in Iran in QUM by (Qum silk signed: Iran Qum Jamshidi)
I have attached a link so you can look at it. I bought it in Northern Iraq. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Yes, this is Qum. Unfortunately I can not read the signature, but if it is Jamshidi, it's a very good rug.

It does say Qum Jamshidi... whether or not it's a real Jamshidi I have no idea.

This is a genuine Persian pure silk Quom signed by Jamshidi with the traditional "Gonbad" pattern. I would say it is worth $60-$70 per square foot. Quom rugs by Jamshidi are among the finest Persian silk rugs, but you should know that they also come in different qualities. This one is not the top quality but it is above average.
