Hi!

Yesterday I didn't know nothing about oriental rugs...but today I'm entering this interesting world by accident...

I do have this rug wich has come to me from an office closure -they did not want it anymore- and I do not know what kind it is and if it is worth any value at all.

I'm very sorry for the photo quality, I will try to get some decent camera if needed, anything that can be told from it will make me happy :) Thanks in advance for any information!

Many, many thanks for your information, where can I find more detailed information about this kind of rugs? How can I know the age of it?

I'm just starting to love rugs, the more I see, the more I like this pieces of art, so every information is like gold for me :)

Thanks again!

Nice rug, probably about 5-7 years old. http://www.rugrag.com/po...esign-Peshawar-Rugs.aspx

Many many thanks for this information!

I think you're both right, they have told me now they bought at a local small dealer here in Spain,
and the guy who gived to me says it was sold as a "kazak", but can't remember nothing more.
He expected this to be from the mid nineties, as he remember the rug was in the office for a very long time, but cannot say. Is that possible?

I would love trading it with someone for some other rugs that I like more. (no blue or red in it, softer colors)

Is it worth selling it on ebay? What price should I ask in this condition? Should I better keep it even if I cannot use it?

Thank you a lot!!

No idea what you'd get on ebay. It looks like a commercial Kazak bazaar quality. The price of these along with everything else sold from Pakistan has increased recently but it's not an 'investment piece' so if you are not going to use it I'd suggest trading it for something you will if possible.

Thank you Little Persia!

Not valuable at all, hehe, I see, I will try to trade for something I like more. At least it served to me to discover a new passion, oriental rugs!

Thanks a lot everyone for your help!
