Hi,
Here's another small area rug I inherited. This rug is 26" x 50" and has an overall busy floral pattern with a very small defined inner border. Wool with a warp that looks like cotton though the fringe is missing. What kind of rug is this called, and how old is it please? Thanks for your help.

Your rug is a typical Kirman, design was made in very large numbers in 1920 - 50. Seems to be one of the earlier ones. Nice rug.
