Hi all!

I recently purchased two rugs at an Estate Sale. They look great in the house; however, I know nothing about them! Below are three pictures of each of the two rugs -- I did my best to include as much of the rug in the picture as possible. Any insight about country of origin, style, age, etc. is greatly appreciated!

The first measures approximately 15'1" x 10'2", and the second is roughly 11'8"x 7'8". No tags/markings are on the underside of either rug.

confusing to see different selvages on either side. Great looking rug, how much did you pay on this?

$3,000 for both of them. What types of rugs do you suppose these are?

didn't see these were two different rugs. First is a afghan peshawar. Second is probably made in india, but even some come from china now and are near impossible to tell country of origin. the price is a bit high for an estate sale assuming all sales final and private buyer to private seller - but they do seem to be very nice quality provided there is no fading or condition problems and would be way less than retail if that were the case. beautiful carpets and welcome to the forum
