Very loosely based off a 18th century museum rug design. you would have to post more photographs to determine anything else.

Please post picture of back showing knots, fringes and long side. Looks like a Kayseri silk to me, but this design was very popular in Kashan also.

So from which period is it? I know that is at least 100 years old, because my grand grand father brought it in the beginning of 1900.And how much does it worth then?

Would have to do a burn test - if it is faux silk, $300 - 500 private party or whatever you can get - perhaps much more but auction results historically speak low for kayseri. If real silk, both pile and foundation, let us know. I do not think this is more than 100 years old. it's from right around 1920 when many of the famous museum rug designs were rampant, and mercerized cotton became prolific in this type of weave

But fact is it is that old and well preserved covered with 1 cm of dust in a dark place of basement for more than 100 years, after we wash it for 3 times he started to shine like new! It is real silk burn steady flame, smells like burning hair.

And It was written on Arabic, it is holy prayer text not on Turkish.

I have no idea where the rug is from (although looking at the selvages I'd suggest Turkey, not Iran anyway) or from which decade however...

The history of the Turkish language is complicated - at one stage three different (main) languages were used. One was used in every day life, another for creative writing and poetry and another for law and (I think) religious texts.

Prior to 1940 Arabic and Persian text would be common-place. If you visit Istanbul you will notice Arabic text on many of the buildings' carvings. The Koran is also written in Arabic so it wouldn't be unusual - they don't write/speak Arabic in most of Iran either.

Your rug is definitely a Turkish silk, but not a Hereke. The writing is not a real language, but rather an immitation of Arabic alphabets. There is no meaning to the words, and they are only supposed to represent prayers of Koran. This rug can not be older than 60-70 years in my opinion. In many Middle Eastern countries, muslims would stand on a piece of rug at the time of praying. This would be a clean piece as opposed to the bare floor. This explains the writings in Arabic alphabets.
