Not worth much. BUT, probably worth having any reduction in size be done professionally if there is sentimental attachment. Otherwise, it will come apart completely.

Agree with Bukhara, no great value - turkish Ushak Kelim. But if you want to keep using it, it would be ok to have it fixed, should not cost a fortune - and a wash would be ok also.
