Hello,

Ten years ago, I purchased a Chinese silk rug 24 1/2" x 36 3/4" (excluding fringe) from what appeared to be a reputable brick and mortar dealer in Hong Kong. I believe that I paid approximately $200 for the rug, however I can't locate the receipt. It is probably lost. I have since believed and treated my purchase as a hand-made heirloom, however I don't know for certain.

Your site was recommended as a valued resource in hand made rugs. I am requesting your assistance to better understand what I purchased, it's current value and to gain peace of mind to this item. I don't want to represent the rug as hand woven, if it is not. I greatly appreciate your assistance and have attached photos as recommended, for your evaluation.

Yes, it's handmade silk rug from China. If you pay $ 200 then it is a good price. However, I think you pay more.
