Hi,
Here's another one of my acquired rugs that I need your help with. It is a kilim, flat weave rug.

After researching, I can't seem to find anything like it but it does have a European look with all the roses and floral design. It is signed with initials, too (KB).
Could it be a Bessarabian? The examples I've seen of Bessarabian rugs seem more elaborate and darker.

It is wool with a flax looking fringe and a woven band next to the fringe.
It measures 60" x 76". There is a faint bleeding of the dyes of the colors into the natural light background.
What is it in your opinion, and how old do you think this is?
Thanks.

Bessarabian (and Moldovian, Romanian, Bulgarian) kilims can be on a natural light wool ground/field. Yours certainly looks like its origin is from that general area. Less elaborate and less fine may mean less old.
