We do rug deep beating/dusting, shampooing, chemical treatment (which is still basically cleaning) and extraction, hand cleaning and small repairs... but I've never known a way to add back natural "luster".
I've never seen "luster" products.
Perhaps it's just a term we don't use, the cleaning page has an option for shampoo on its own, we'd never simply shampoo a rug, it doesn't properly clean it. It just confuses me this "luster wash" description, unless there's some product out there I've never heard of.
So basically is a "luster wash" these other chemicals?
On a personal note I think tea washing or herbal washing should be avoided by all but the specialists in it - and even then it's not something I like unless to tone down an extremely bright and garish rug.
