Hi guys, I'm new on the forum, and pretty new to buying rugs. I am in the Army. I purchased some low quality Persian rugs when I was deployed to Iraq. Now I am in Afghanistan and I want to buy some finer Persian rugs. This is one of three posts I have. Please tell me what you think. I mostly want to make sure that I am getting a good price for the rugs I buy, and I'm not getting lied to about the origin or quality of the rugs. I am a Sergeant so I don't make a whole lot of money over here. I don't want to waste any of it, and would like to be able to make my money back if not a small profit if I need to sell them. Thanks for your input.

I was told this rug is Nain. It is wool decorated with silk on cotton. It is new and in excellent condition. It is 5x7. The seller is asking $800 USD. I couldn't remember all the angles I was supposed to take pictures from. I can take more pictures if I missed something important. There are a few different shops on my base. They all have hundreds of rugs.

The full rug.

The bottom.

The side.

The top.

The back.
