for ebay maybe 1200 - 1500. depends. Depending on condition they can be a lot more at retail like this. Problem is the blue on these makes it difficult to see repairs or low areas. In fair condition they can be had as low as $300. Excellent to outstanding maybe 2k + retail

RugPro got the point - from first sight it looks like a good rug. Looking closer shows that the density of the pile is not very high, so we are looking at a low or medium quality rug. Design is a classic Kashan, but from the back it looks a bit more like Arun or Ardekan - these two cities make the same design as Kashan, but are quite lower in price and quality. My guess is that 9 out of 10 Kashan sold on Ebay look like Kashan but are made in other cities. Still the rug is worth buying if the price does not extend a range between 1000 and 1500 USD. For a more detailed price it is importand to see the rug in person due to the reasons RugPro explained.

Interesting stuff!

I paid $1200 for the rug.

I knew I was taking a gamble on ebay. The seller has 1500 or so transaction %100 positive feedback. His return policy is 30 days. So I felt it was a low risk purchase.

Thank so you much for the info!
