I'm trying out whether I can attach a photo.
<busily trying to attach photo>
It seems I can. Did you tick "attach files to this post" and then hit post? That's how I did it.

...hey, i was able to do so now going through the same actions i've doing w/ no avail before; however, I've already determined it to be Lilian and not anywhere near their asking price...would everyone agree?

Thanks, hopefully I'll find some more to post!!!

nice rug attached there shereen.

the rug could be lilihan, esp. with the black wrapping on the edges unless it were a very fine rug, it is most likely single weft. BUT, we would have to see the weave unless someone here has more of a keen eye. A little yellowing which could be from pet, or not, depends. there are better deals to be had, but that's not to say this is a bad one.

This one is a bit more worn and away from the colors, but still not a bad price

It's beautiful, isn't it? I don't own it though, nor do I have close-up photos. It is in fact a Chinese copy (as close-up photos would no doubt reveal) made by a small Chinese rug manufacturer, but it shows that there are some fine Chinese copies of Persian rugs out there.

well, as you can see from the new photos i attached, it's got some issues and i don't believe a sarouk. so, i put it through the rugrag estimator and it spit it out as worth roughly $90 and so i told them i couldn't offer more than $50, if i were interested, and they countered w/ $70, which i will not do since i'm no longer interested.... so thanks to everyone and please let me know what you think of the rug now!

thanks for the other links, too, rugpro...
