Hello, I'm new to posting here but have followed the forum on and off since I became interested in Oriental rugs last year.

I was googling for information on authentic Habibian rugs just to see how much they'd sell for (Habibian seems to have a website, but it is mostly under construction) when I stumbled upon this:

A pretty huge (19x32 feet) allegedly Habibian Nain. Listed as 9 lah so I contacted the seller and asked about this, since I didn't think they made 9 lah at all. The seller responded, then deleted my question but edited "unsigned" into the rug description.

Bah, even I have a signed Habibian. Fake signature of course, but at least they put some effort into their fraud ;)

9 lah - ok, it seems that way. And of course the carpet is not Habibian
