too tough to tell. be sure to get close ups of the field. the blue looks a bit purple and muddled. I've seen nain painted before, just make sure that's not the case with this piece.

Thank you RugPro. I attach a photo of the back. The kpsi is low, approx. 144, so I think it's a Tabas (that KAD wouldn't have in his shop due to low quality wool that does not wear well).
No worries, eventually the right rug (within my budget) will find me.
If I'm misidentifying, please put me straight.
