Repairing missing fringe (silk)

Here is my rug again, this area had some fringe missing. I bought some 'beading' silk and did the best I could to weave in the missing threads. I should have tried to match the color of the silk (with tea stain) but didn't. Not the world's best repair, but had fun trying:)

Very nicely done, my respect! Personally, I think it doesn't matter if such repairs are somewhat visible, as long as they don't interfere with the overall appearance of a rug (as your repair obviously doesn't). In some sense, a rug gets some "personality" and shows it has a history, by being not all perfect.
