These rugs have definately seen better days, but the question is when were their goods day being made, and are they anything of interest. I am a sucker for buying warn rugs that look like they are very old no matter what the condition in the hope of makinga discovery. I didn't say a tresure, but sometinig even in the 1890s.

Of course the rug must have enough color and interesting composition that my imagination can run away wiith "if this rug could talk. " The bigger Turkoman is 7X1 and Caucasian 3X7The seller describes the Turkoman being able to be put on the floor and the Caucasion not. The Causcasian has burlap on the back to help surport it.

Terrible pictures and maybe terrible because they give an accuate picture of the rug. The owner is asking $150 for both so even if they had to be used as garage rag they were so bad, the damage wouldn't be much.

Are these early 1900 rugs that are of any interest, or should I not waste my time to take the two hours to see them? They are a distance away.

Turkoman is Ersari. Even if you only buy it for $ 150 I think it is a good deal. Yes, from 1900. Caucasian look like Gendje.
