Not very upfront with the items he has. I would watch out for this seller, especially with the age discrepancies, and the location/shipping costs. This particular rug is no more than 40 years old, and is most likely even newer.

Yeah, and "junglegreen" says he is in the United States, but the item is in Tehran. So at best he's what, buying sight unseen and reselling before even getting it?

Hmmm... that's an interesting point, usually I wouldn't think much of something like that. I wonder why they've set it up like that. I guess they could be working with a relative overseas, or maybe it allows their store to be seen both overseas and in the states. You know how you mentioned before some of these stores only show up in UK, and others only in US...

Yeah. There are no where nearly as many rugs on the UK site as the US site. And there tends to be some kinds of things you don't see here that show up there. Now one guy from the UK site who I contacted about a shipping price who was never on the US site before is now selling on the US site as well. But he's big, like ECG and all the "guys" in VA. Not that that means anything particularly but you can see what his feedbacks are. And if there are negatives, you can see what those are too.
