These are some of the offerings from the local PX merchants. All in all, I think there are some nice rugs, but probably offered at retail. Just thought I would offer some of my favorites.

This carpet is a silk hereke. I am not sure if it is original or not. You cant see on the picture. If it is original from Turkey. It can cost a lot of money. I dont know the size of the piece.

I will load more images just as soon as I can get more pics. I do have quite a few detailed pics, back, fringe, and others. I was trying to upload more than one picture, but I was having issues. I'll figure it out and get them loaded.

The rug feels a little too mechanical to be a Hereke.
It doesn't have the natural flow and beauty of a Hereke.

Just my opinion --- I could be wrong.
