Mystery rug signature, fringe, from where?

Can anyone tell me where this rug might be from, just from the signature and fringe? I'll post more pics of the full design later.

I found some repairs, the selvages may have been rewrapped, but not for sure.

a small white area




the blue line





edge was rolled and worn

It is a Kashmir rug, ca. 1975 -85 (more likly before 1980). Pic 3 - you are right, an old repair. Pic 7 - the long sides often roll under the rug, if there is no leather band under the selvages - typical wear. I think the selvage is mostly original.

Thanks, it's 4'1"x6'7" what do you think it's worth? Wool on cotton, with some silk highlights...see photos on ' "Handmade by the Kashmirian brothers" mystery rug', follow up topic.
