Beware of rugs - this is the greatest addiction I can think of. Any cure? Forget it! Gets worse with every beautiful rug you look at!

Suggestions for curing your rug addiction:
1. Forget about it - rug addiction is great. But like anything else, you need to know what you do. Gather as much information as you can about rugs - so that you can buy more good quality rugs and become a collector.
2. Start weaving (knotting) your own rug - and promise yourself not to buy a new rug until you finish it ;) This is like Fishing, it taste always better when you fish it yourself :)
3. Share your addiction with others (like on the rugrag Forum) and make sure that your friends are rug addicts too - so you feel less abnormal :)
4. Enjoy it!! Tell yourself that it's a matter of taste - some people are addicted to bread toasters - you prefer handmade rugs!
5. I don't know how old you are, or trendy you feel, but Oriental rugs & handmade rugs are back on track! More and more young artists are becoming rug addict...
