seller states it's an antique persian rug, approximately 9x12'...other than the pictures, that's all...asking $850

...there seems to pretty some pretty worn areas, too...

...i just wanted to get everyone's thoughts...not sure i'm completely interested in purchasing...seems like a pretty average piece of no significant value/interest...

I would need a more detailed pic from the knots and selvedge. From what I see so far: It is an antique rug made in the time the american sarouks where made, but from a different country. It is an antique Agra from India - quite a rare rug compared with the sarouks. Price is ok due to the poor condition.

I agree with KAD. We need more detail pictures to understand the carpet. But as much as i saw It needs some work. But again price is OK.

the price is okay Mr.Mosaic08..;) but check more on the details of the carpet before buying it.. usually buyers tend to overlook that part..:)
