Another rug from the estate i have acquired. Has been untouched for almost 20 yrs. This rug measures 25.5" X 49". Can you help me what what it is and where it came from? Approx. value? I am trying to get my other pics to load. Its slow, or else they won't load. Sorry

This looks like a painted American Sarouk to me. It's wool on cotton and has some age, but others will have to give you more precise answers.

I would agree with Shereen. American Sarouk, good quality, from ca. 1925 - 30, pile painted with darker red. Saleprice in a shop ca. 300 - 400 US$.
