Another rug from the estate I have acquired. Estate has been untouched for almost 20 yrs. This rug measures 28.5" X 49.5". Sorry...Can't get the others to load.

This one has a Herati design in the field and a turtle-herati main border.

It has a nice light blue, probably natural dye. The other dyes could also be natural, but the red may be synthetic, can't tell from the photo.

Looks like wool on cotton, as far as the photo allows to tell.

Persian/Iranian, possibly North-West Persian.

Has some age, too.

Again, the experts here should be able to tell you more.

Ca. 1940 / 50 from western Iran, Hamadan area. It was made in a small village called Angelas. Typical Herati design and colors. Condition looks good. I would say ca. 300 US$ shop price.
